Vintage Ruby and Diamond Cluster Ring, c.1970s

This stunning and breath-taking ring features a total of 2.60 carat’s worth of wonderful rubies. The centre stone is 0.60 carat and is expertly claw set. It is then haloed by a circle of round brilliant white diamonds, which is turn are haloed by an outer layer of rubies. The diamonds each weigh 0.15 carat, total 0.90 carat, and are estimated as G in colour and VS in clarity. All the stones are claw set within heighten basket work, typical of the 1970s era. The dress ring is crafted from 18 carat white gold.
