Vintage Opal, Ruby and Diamond Brooch, hallmarked 1967

This mesmerising brooch depicts a lively bouquet of flowers. Master craftsmanship is on display in the flowers and leaves of the piece crafted from iridescent opals. Are 0.10 carat ruby is set into the centre of each of the three flowers, each claw set into gold. Atop of the 18 carat yellow gold stalks, a further four diamonds are featured. These round brilliant diamonds are set into platinum. They weigh 0.10 carat a piece, ranging in colour from G to H and matching in clarity at VS. This stunning brooch is crafted in 18 carat yellow gold with a pin back. The hallmark dates the piece to 1967.
