This beautiful bird brooch was crafted in the 1970s in 18 carat yellow gold. Intricate enamelling in black white, green and brown have been used to create to create the likeness of the bird sitting on a branch. A single emerald has been used to create the birds eye, rub over set into 18 carat yellow gold and contrasting the black enamel wonderfully.
