Vintage 6.10 Carat Citrine and Diamond Ring, c.1960s

This vintage 1960s era citrine and diamond ring presents a 6.10 carat, rubover set, oval-shaped citrine amid a glittering single row halo comprised of round brilliant cut diamonds in 18 carat yellow gold. The round brilliant stones have an overall weight of 0.30 carat and are estimated as H in colour and SI in clarity. The claw set diamond halo creates a lovely textural element at the ring’s outer edge between decorative tri-part split shoulders, which taper to a comfortable shank, putting the finishing touches to this original mid-century piece.
