Vintage 1.20ct Diamond and Sapphire Target Ring, c.1980s

Crafted in the 1980s with a strong Art Deco style this wonderful target ring centres around a single 1.20 carat old cut diamonds. The stone has a colour of H and clarity of I1. Rub over set into 18 carat white gold, the diamond is then surrounded by a halo of tapered French cut sapphires. These beautiful blue sapphires total 0.90 carat and bring wonderful contrast to the piece. A final cluster of round brilliant diamonds completes the target style. These diamonds are set above and below the main stone and also adorn each shoulder for a total of 0.22 carat. Each additional diamond matches in quality at G in colour and VS in clarity. Split 18 carat white gold shoulders taper down into a simple band completing the piece.
