Victorian 2.18ct Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring, c.1900s

This stunning Victorian cluster ring features a beautiful deep blue sapphire in the centre. It is a natural stone, with no evidence of treatment, weighing 2.18 carat. It is haloed by a ring of hand cut, old cut diamonds, which total 4.00 carat. They are estimated as I in colour and VS in clarity, typical of the 1900s period it dates to. All the dazzling stones are claw set using 18 carat yellow gold, which leads into a thick shank. The metal has been hand crafted into the ring, adding character to this unique ring.
