Victorian 7.10ct Sapphire and Old Cut Diamond Bangle, c.1900s

This is a beautiful, handmade piece of jewellery dating to the 1900s. The natural sapphires have a combined weight of 7.10 carat; the centre sapphire weighs 1.10 carat whilst the remaining each weigh 1.00 carat. In between the cushion cut gemstones are sparkling old cut diamonds. There are four diamonds weighing 0.30 carat and the remaining eight diamonds weigh 0.25 carat each. This brings the total to 3.20 carat and all the diamonds are estimated as F to G in colour and VS in clarity. The setting work has been hand crafted in platinum, whilst the bangle has been made in 18 carat yellow gold, typical of the Victorian era.
