Victorian Old Cut Diamond and Ruby Three Stone Ring, c.1880s

This colourful c.1880s take on the ever popular three stone ring centres a 1.00 carat old cut diamond between a vibrant pair of old cut rubies, which together weigh 0.70 carats. The old cut has been hand cut, and graded as a J in colour and VS1 in clarity. The rubies have a fabulous pink hue to them and really shine next to the 18 carat yellow gold. These pretty antique gemstones are presented in their original Victorian era setting, with the diamond set in a handcrafted platinum collet, and the remainder of the piece in yellow.
