This romantic Victorian ring features an old cut heart shaped diamond. This hand cut stone is 1.20 carat, and is certified by EDR to be an E colour and VS1 clarity. It is secured with a rub over setting. A halo of french cut, deep red rubies surrounds the centre diamond. In total there are 21 rubies which have a combined weight of 0.21 carats.
Three old cut diamonds are grain set within the shoulders, totalling to 0.06 carats. The setting work on the shoulders is made of platinum, whilst the rest of the ring is crafted in 18 carat yellow gold. This combination of platinum and yellow gold was the typical style of the 1900s.
