Victorian Diamond and Pearl Necklace, c.1860s

This beautiful necklace is a Victorian piece dating to approximately the 1860s. The bow designs are made up of diamonds and natural pearls. The diamonds are old cuts and graduate in size moving out from the centre. The centre diamond weighs 0.25 carat, either side each weigh 0.20 carat, then 0.15 carat and the ones on the end three are 0.10 carat each. This brings the total to 1.55 carat. They all match in quality, G in colour and VS in clarity. The pearls are natural and the whole piece is hand made from 15 carat yellow gold.
