Victorian Cushion Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, c.1880s

A stunning cluster ring dating to the 1880s. The beautifully handmade ring has a centre diamond weighing 1.05 carat. It is an old cushion cut, estimated to be H to I in colour and SI1 in clarity. Either side are diamonds weighing 0.25 carat each. In between the three larger stones, and on either end, are smaller old cut diamonds and each weighs 0.025 carat. This brings the total weight to 1.65 carat and all diamonds match in quality. The ring is all made in 18 carat yellow gold and features a breath-taking carved shank.
