Victorian 2.10ct Old Cut Diamond Three Stone Ring, c.1881
In stock
This wonderful piece dates back to 1881, with a historical engraving reading ‘F.C.J. Oct 1881’. It is trilogy ring featuring beautiful, hand cut, old cut diamonds. Totaling to 2.10 carat, the centre diamond is 0.90 carat and the two adjacent are 0.60 carat each. They are set within platinum collets which allow their colour to shine through. They are graded as I in colour and VS-SI in clarity, high for the era. The spilt shoulders feature a wonderful feather patterning. This would have been hand carved, showing an impeccable level of care and craftsmanship. The graceful band thins as it reaches the bottom of the shank and is all made from 18 carat yellow gold.
