Victorian 1.25ct Diamond and Enamel Ring, c.1860s
In stock
Dating to the mid Victorian era, this beautiful ring is a true rarity. At it’s centre a 0.25 carat old mine cut diamond sits surrounded by a halo exquisite blue enamel. A further ring of ten old mine cut diamonds then surrounds the enamel to create a target like design. These additional diamonds weigh 0.10 carat each bringing the total carat weigh of the piece to 1.25. The diamonds match in colour at I and range in clarity from VS to SI. The glittering display of stones and enamel work has been set into silver, whilst the contrasting band has been crafted in 15 carat yellow gold. Split shoulders and intricate carvings adorn the band adding further detailing to this stunning piece.
