Victorian 1.10ct Sapphire and Diamond Five Stone Ring, c.1880s

An alternating pattern of Beautiful blue sapphires and old cut diamonds feature in this Victorian five stone ring. The central old cut Sapphire is 0.40 carat, whilst the two end stones weigh 0.35 carat a piece. Set between the the Sapphires, the pair of diamonds weigh 0.15 carat each and are set into white gold to highlight their white colour. The diamonds match in quality, being given an estimated grading of G in colour and VS in clarity. The ring is lovingly hand crafted from 18 carat yellow gold and features elegant detailing across the gallery flowing down into the gently tapering shoulders.
