Victorian 0.55ct Opal and Diamond Trilogy Ring, c.1890s

A trio of iridescent opals are displayed in this charming 18 carat yellow gold Victorian ring. The central opal sits largest at 0.25 carat with the each end opal weighing 0.15 carat a piece. Between each opal, adding a little sparkle to the ring are four old cut diamonds, set in pairs. These diamonds total 0.12 carat with estimated quality of G in colour and Vs in clarity. Down each shoulder, elegantly carved scrolling work completes the look.
