A remarkable Georgian mourning ring dating back almost 200 years. This incredible ring is composed of 18ct yellow gold and black enamelling which intricately decorate the patterned split shoulders and the rectangular shaped top of the ring. The black enamelling and gold pattern around the clear crystal which encases a lock of hair in the centre is truly captivating and most definitely shows off the characteristics of the Georgian era. An original hallmark dated c.1833 can be seen inside the band.
