This ruby and diamond five stone is beautifully made and show cases top quality stones. The natural rubies are a lovely red. The centre gemstone weighs 0.50 carat whilst the two either end weigh 0.25 carat. The two diamonds, which make five, are old cut diamonds each weighing 0.40 carat. They have been estimates as F in colour and VS in clarity. All the setting work has been made in platinum, whilst the shoulders and band are 18 carat yellow gold. The ring is Edwardian, dating to approximately 1910.
