This early Victorian era diamond coronet cluster ring is around 175 years old! It dates from from 1840 – 1845 and is hand-set with 3.00 carats of old cut diamonds arranged concentrically within a scalloped gallery. The oval-shaped mounting is comprised of silver and 18 carat yellow gold. Three gold beads at each shoulder introduce the ring’s ornately carved shank, which features a highly decorative scroll design, a flourish often seen in pieces from this era.
