Art Deco Sapphire and Diamond Dress Ring, c.1920s

 This unique ring is full of character and would be the ideal every-day wear dress ring. It is marquise shaped and has a central sapphire which is a rich blue colour. The oval sapphire weighs 0.50 carat and the remaining sapphires, which are french cuts graduating out in size, have a combined weight of 0.10 carat. The shining diamonds are a beautiful addition, totalling 0.54 carat, they are G in colour and VS in clarity. The diamonds are grain set, and the exquisite metal work on the gallery shows the level of craftsmanship. The piece is all made in platinum and the shank is an interesting design with three strips.
