A platinum and diamond cluster ring dating from the 1930s centring a 0.70 carat old cut diamond flanked by a petite pair of 0.10 carat old cuts presented in a scintillating eight cut diamond-encrusted setting. Set with a generous 1.70 carats of antique diamonds, the Art Deco provenance of this ring’s design is apparent in its use of negative space and sophisticated shapes. Mille-grain edging, cheniers under the gallery, and diamond-accented shoulders with hand-done engraving finish this piece with lovely period flourishes.
