Art Deco Emerald and Diamond Cocktail Ring, c.1920s

This stunning emerald and diamond ring dates back to the 1920s. The emerald is a beautiful green colour and weighs 2.00 carats. It is rub over set in the middle of two lines of old cut diamonds. They have a combined weight of 1.00 carat and have been grain set within platinum. 0.50 carats of baguette cut diamonds are set on the outer shoulders, the beginning of the thin, but wide, platinum band. The sparkling stones are estimated to be E in colour and VS in clarity. The detailing on the band adds another level of craftsmanship.
