Art Deco Burmese Ruby and Diamond Ring, c.1930s
Platinum & 18 Carat Yellow Gold
Sold
Out of stock
This beautiful ring dates back to the 1930s and features a wonderfully deep red ruby in the centre. The ruby has been certified by GIA as a natural stone with no treatment. The origin has been classed as Burmese, which shows the stone is top quality. It is rub over set within 18 carat yellow gold and encircled by a halo of old cut diamonds. The diamonds have a combined weight of 0.30 carats and are estimated as G in colour and VS in clarity. They are all set within platinum, which also makes up the gallery and shank. The ring is all handmade and is very well crafted. The detailing on the band and shoulders really adds character.
