Elegantly shown in this 1930s engagement ring is a 0.63 carat transitional cut diamond. It has been estimated as G in colour and SI1 in clarity. The diamond has been set in platinum claws which then the platinum also leads on the shoulders where there is a small diamond set to either side. The remainder of the band has been made in 18ct yellow gold.
