A wonderful old cut emerald is highlighted in the centre of this 1930s ring. The lovely green emerald weighs 0.40 carat and is held within 18 carat yellow gold claws. It is surrounded by a glittering halo of eight transitional cut diamonds. They are graded as F in colour and VS in clarity, and are 0.05 carat each. The gallery and band are hand made in 18 carat yellow gold, while the diamonds are set in platinum.
