This classic engagement ring showcases a 0.40 carat transitional cut diamond. The diamond is estimated as H colour and VS clarity, and sparkles wonderfully in the light. It is held within platinum claws, which match the platinum covered shoulders. Two small grooves separate the platinum shoulders from the 18 carat yellow gold band, adding that touch of art deco simplicity so characteristic of the period. This ring would have been hand made in the 1930s.
