Victorian 1.03ct Ruby and Diamond Double Heart Ring, c.1880s

Sitting side by side, the vivid 1.03 carat Burmese ruby sits with fiery intensity, whilst a 0.50 carat old pear cut diamond sparkles wonderfully. The ruby is entirely natural and unheated with the accompanying diamond graded I in colour and SI1 in clarity. A halo of 1.20 carats of glistening old cut diamonds both envelops the duo and adorns the bow shaped metal work above. Each stone has been delicately set into platinum whilst the basket and band have been crafted in 18 carat yellow gold.
