Late Deco 34.15ct Aquamarine and Diamond Ring, c.1940s

This gorgeous aquamarine and diamond ring of epic proportions was exquisitely handcrafted in platinum during the fabulous ’40s! The ring features a dramatically beautiful, 34.15 carat, placid blue, emerald cut aquamarine, which has been corner claw set within an elaborate openwork scrolling gallery. Four stepped shoulders on either side graduate from five vertically set glittering round brilliant cut diamonds to two, with three additional graduated diamonds set from each corner to the smooth shank, all totalling 1.10 carats. They are graded as G in colour and VS in clarity, so they truly dazzle alongside the impressive centre stone.
