Vintage 1.56ct Emerald and Diamond Three Stone Engagement Ring, c.1940s

This beautiful 1940’s ring features a deep green emerald which is Zambian in origin. It weighs 1.56 carat and is cut into a lovely oval shape. It has been set within an 18 carat yellow gold collet, which truly shows off the fabulous colour. To either side of the emerald are old cut cut diamonds, each weighing 0.50 carat. They are high quality, estimated as G in colour and VS in clarity. They are set within the platinum shank. A further three diamonds are set to either side within the platinum shoulders, leading onto the yellow gold band. This piece would make a stunning engagement ring, or a beautiful dress ring.
