About Us

Mark Hicks, a third generation independent jeweler, founded Farringdons Jewellery in 2006 as a modest stall in the The Heart of Hatton Garden Jewellery Emporium.

In 2011 Mark’s son Liam joined the family business and not long after his daughter Alexandra as well. Farringdons moved to its current premises on Greville Street, centrally located in London’s Hatton Garden, one of the world’s finest jewellery districts.

From our Hatton Garden storefront, we continue to grow our clientele both in-person and online with customers from all over the world coming back again and again for high-quality diamonds, gemstones and fine antique and vintage jewellery.

We have one of Hatton Garden’s largest selections of antique and vintage engagement rings. We also stock a broad selection of antique and vintage cocktail and dress rings, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings.

Our growing and ever-changing antique and vintage collection includes exceptional pieces from the Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco eras through to spectacular vintage 40s, 50s and 60s jewels, and on to unique pre-owned items from the later half of the twentieth century.

I have been going to Farringdon’s for several years for everything from insurance valuations for my engagement ring to repairs. They are THE BEST antique jewellery experts in London, great at what they do and also very fairly priced.
They are an honest, family run business (one of the few left in Hatton Garden) with an excellent knowledge of antique jewellery. If I were buying another antique piece they would be the people I’d go to. I have mostly been helped by Liam, but everyone in the shop is always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

This place is like a wonderland where it allows you to find your dream jewellery. I went to Hatton garden today and wanted to get a heart shaped gemstone ring but I couldn’t find anything stunning or truly special, and in the end looked for inspiration for something else entirely. Then I walked in this shop, and was presented with a massive array of options. I found a ring which suited me much more, of an amazing quality and design. I think I will definitely come back for more in the future. The collection is great, the owner & his son are brilliant and witty, very knowledgeable, fun to shop with, do not hard sell and are very nice and the price is very fair!
